What on earth were you ...I love this story so much! What on earth were you doing at Waffle House on Christmas morning??? It is often shocking what you learn when you take the time to talk to people. So many are carrying such heavy burdens. Working at Waffle House can't be an easy job and she is working a double (my feet hurt to think of it) so she can be off the next day-not for something fun that would make the pain in her feet more bearable-for something the opposite of that. I bet you were a blessing to her that day as one kind word can make the difference in a day-it's something so easy to do but we rarely do it. Good for you.
