I have been away from your blog fo...Dearest Pookie,<br />I have been away from your blog for a bit. I can't tell you why, I am unsure about reasons. I miss your words. I must do better. I know about reaching for a hand that you sense just wishes you would pull away. Wednesday was two years for my Mom. I would have liked to say I missed her, but I wouldn't want to lie. It's taken two years for me to gather the courage to admit that out loud to people, not many people, just a few. But the rest of your story is what matters most, on Friday of this week someone VERY important to me was having an MRI. Not here, nearby so I knew I needed to be in our chapel at church. I sat there for over an hour and the prayers I sent up were to Our Lady, I prayed the rosary. She was there next to me and I felt a sense of comfort and I hope the people who waited for the test to be complete felt a sense of comfort and peace.
